The inbox shows how much time remains. Once an address expires or is replaced, don't rely on it to receive verification codes.
Terms / Updated September 29, 2026
Use email tools responsibly.
By using ZipFwd, you agree to these terms. Pay particular attention to temporary address expiry, uncertain email delivery, and your responsibility to use long-term addresses for important accounts.
Use a receiving email address you control, and keep your login codes and authenticator key secure.
Sender policies, network delays and anti-abuse systems may affect email delivery or alias forwarding.
1. Service scope
ZipFwd provides short-term web inboxes, configurable email forwarding aliases and related management tools. Temporary inboxes are for short-term verification, not long-term storage, backup or account recovery.
Forwarding requires sign-in with an email verification code. Some accounts can also enable an authenticator app. We may adjust limits and features for security, maintenance or abuse prevention, and will announce significant changes that affect use where reasonably practicable.
2. Permitted and prohibited uses
The service can help you avoid unnecessarily sharing your personal email address and manage messages from different sources separately. Using separate addresses does not exempt you from following sender rules or local laws.
Create an inbox for your own email needs
- Receive verification emails for legitimate sign-ups, trials or downloads.
- Create separate aliases for public contact details and manage them by purpose.
- View, delete or check delivery records in your own inbox.
Don't use the tools to harm others
- Send spam, commit fraud, harass others or distribute malicious content.
- Bypass a website's registration limits, bans or identity verification rules.
- Access, scrape or interfere with other people's email or services without permission.
If you breach these limits, we may restrict addresses, suspend accounts or take necessary security measures. Where illegal activity is suspected, we may handle related requests in accordance with applicable law.
3. Address and email expiry
Check the current toolbar for the time remaining on a temporary address. After a successful extension, the page will show the updated expiry. If you replace an address, delete an email or let an address expire, assume the old receiving route cannot be restored.
| Service item | How it's managed | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary address | Extend or replace | Don't rely on it to receive new messages after expiry |
| Individual temporary email | Delete from inbox | Deleted emails cannot be recovered |
| Forwarding alias | Pause, resume or delete | The destination inbox must be able to receive email |
| Delivery records | View, mark or delete | The dashboard shows records from the past 30 days |
Senders may reject temporary domains, and internet email delivery can be affected by recipient servers, filters or network conditions. We can't guarantee every email or verification code will arrive within a specific time.
4. Account and security responsibilities
Sign in with an email account you’re authorised to access. Don't share login codes, authenticator keys or browser sessions with others. For accounts you may need to recover later, use an email address you can keep accessing rather than a temporary one.
If you notice an unfamiliar alias or unauthorised access, pause the affected alias promptly and contact support. We may ask you to verify your identity from the email address on your account before handling sensitive account requests.
5. Availability, changes and limitations of liability
We work to keep the service reliable, but maintenance, abuse attacks, network outages and failures of external email services may cause delays or temporary downtime. Don't rely on ZipFwd as your only channel for emergency alerts or transaction confirmations.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as is. These terms do not exclude consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. We may update the terms and note the new effective date on this page; we will give notice of significant changes through appropriate means.
6. Contact and related policies
If you have questions about using the service, email delivery or account management, email support@zipfwd.com with non-sensitive error details to help us investigate. Never email passwords or currently valid verification codes.
For details on how we handle personal information and email data, see our Privacy Policy. If the two documents seem unclear about how specific data is handled, contact support to confirm the latest information.
